To research the antifreeze performance of road fiber concrete in an erosive solution, trabecular specimens that contained three kinds of water-cement ratios (0.44, 0.42 and 0.40) were formed. Then, they were placed in distilled water and a 10% Na_2SO_4 solution. The mass, relative dynamic elastic modulus and flexural-tensile strength for each specimen were determined by a freeze-thaw cycle test. The results showed that the mass loss ratio of concrete decreased as the water-cement ratio increased; the elastic modulus and flexural-tensile strength loss ratio increased with it; and the Na_2SO_4 solution exacerbated this trend. In addition, the effect of the water-cement ratio and erosive solutions was mutually reinforcing.
