The CARS Measurement of Nitrogen Vibrational and Rotational Temperatures around Wedge-Plate Model behind Hypervelocity Shock Wave

The CARS signals have been obtained around the wedge-plate model behind shock wave at velocity of around 4km/s. The Rotational and vibrational temperatures of nitrogen molecule have been estimated by spectrum-fitting method. Furthermore, the 2D radiation images have been obtained. From results of total radiation image of hypervelocity flow around the wedge-plate model, it is found that oblique shock wave is formed. Moreover, CARS signals at different points are obtained behind the strong oblique shock wave. From results of CARS method, it is found that the rotational temperature is estimated at much higher value than vibrational temperature. This phenomenon did not confirmed in the result without plate regardless the distance from shock wave. This reason has not been found out yet. Thus, we need to obtain more data at same position or differ positions.
