We have presented a high-order Discontinuous Galerkin Method for solving compressible flows in deforming domain using an arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian framework. The techniques focus on large deformation problem, where a moving mesh is adjusted by local mesh operations. A local £2 projection is introduced to transfer the solution between the meshes, which is efficient and easy to implement due to its local character. Several numerical tests are included to show the effectiveness of the method. Our future work will mostly be focused on using the proposed method for practical simulations, in particular for 3D applications.
