How to use the same capturing device to collect the high quality palm vein image of different people is a difficult question. In this paper, a multi-spectral adaptive capturing system is designed to study the relationship between image capturing and the intensity of the multi-spectral light source. In order to obtain the optimal control signal, the image quality evaluation results are applied to control the intensity of regulation, which is used to adjust three different wavelengths of the light source, and then collect the high quality of palm vein image of different users. The capturing system was designed to integrate the palm vein image capturing, infrared light source quality assessment and control together.
