Steady state analysis of a human motion electromechanical energy harvester

The topic of electric energy harvesting from mechanical vibrations has been gaining increasing momentum due to its wide range of potential applications. Recently, harvesting from human motion has been especially considered appealing due to the sharp increase in the fabrication of wearable and biomedical devices. This paper presents an analytical steady state approach to deal with electromechanical energy harvesters subject to low frequency sinusoidal human motion vibrations. The approach is efficient and may be utilized in inferring effects of different parameters on harvested energy. Details of the approach and sample simulations are given in the paper.
