SkinSuit has been designed to reduce the debilitating physical effects of space flight: bone mineral density loss, atrophy of lower limb skeletal and postural muscles, lengthening of spine. Provides compressive force along the vertical (Gz) body axis to induce weight-bearing stresses on the skeleton and resistive exercise to the musculature similar to Earth gravitation Skinsuit wear may cause minor skin irritation and the suit: skin interface may provide an environment where potentially harmful microbes can proliferate.
