In this paper, a Linear Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machine (LFSPMM) and Rotating six-phases Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machine (RFSPMM) are modeled and compared using FEM. The results from these models are discussed and compared with measurements, regarding shape and amplitude of the resulting back-EMF waveforms. Furthermore, by using current decoupling control algorithm, the second order current harmonics are regulated to reduce torque or force ripples for rotating or linear machines, respectively.
