摘要

This paper presents a comparative study and analysis between various models of Photo-Voltaic (PV) used on solar vehicles, which have been formulated exclusively using the data sheet parameters. The models used in this paper include Single Diode Model, Two-Diode Model, and the Ideal Single Diode Model. In order to design and sizing the PV generator that supplied the electric part of vehicle, a precise mathematical model that can represents the generator operation on efficient mode is required. In addition, other parameters should be taken into account for finding the best model for the use in simulator. A comparison have been made on basis of the Maximum Power Point (MPP) values and the Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD) between the simulation results and the experimental data of the P-V and I-V curves for various irradiation and temperature levels. Based on all these, the best model that can be used for design and simulation of the PV generator has been selected. All the systems here are modeled and simulated under MATLAB/Simulink environment.
