摘要

Hierarchical evolutionary method plays an important role in modeling real-life application systems. In this paper, we use the hierarchical evolutionary method to get the control strategy of the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and airconditioning) system. To improve the quality of the solution, especially second level problem's solution, obtained in limited computing time, we study the influence of the population size, generation number, and variation probabilities on the performance of solution, obtained by the hierarchical evolutionary method. Moreover, we analyze the performance of the solution under different parameter settings, and obtain the parameter selection rules for the HVAC system.
