Drivers are prone to ignore some important objectives when observing the external environment. This paper study drivers' visual blindness phenomenon and feature about cyclist as they enter a non-signalized intersection by driving simulation experiment. Firstly, we design a traffic scene and through a driving simulation system organize the driving simulation experiments. Driving speed data is then recorded during the experiment and questionnaires are collected of drivers' information. Secondly, using statistical methods to process the data, we establish regression model about the driver's neglect of the target. The results show that drivers turning right always ignore a cyclist coming from the right, in contrast to drivers turning left, and, the situation is more serious when there is traffic; blindness of radical type drivers are more serious than that of drivers who are composed. The speed change is also more apparent. Finally, this paper proposed some traffic safety measures to this phenomenon of blindness.
