Conclusions: We have shown that SCM and HA nano-fibers are useful cues for mitigating M1 activation in LPS-stimulated macrophages. The HA fibers also show-potential to direct SCs into a pro-myelinating phenotype. Combined together as part of an implantable scaffold system, these cues could trigger cells towards regenerative programs more quickly than traditional PNI interventions.
