The single axis gyroscope stable platform is widely used in some kind of moving carrier, in order to isolate the carrier motion. Thus the equipment installed on the platform is not affected by the carrier motion. With the development of MEMS technology, the stable platform application domain would be expanded. The stable performance is carried out by closed loop control, on the basis of the gyroscope output. Because the output of the gyroscope contains much noise, the platform has drift. It is very important to measure the angle information of the platform for improving the performance of the stable platform. One platform angle information measurement method based on the accelerometer is proposed. Based on the analysis of the accelerometer working principle and the stable platform closed loop control, the angle measurement system is established. The results show that the proposed method can effectively measure the stable platform angle information.
