In the modern world, web information is at the fingertips of the user. This is possible because the technology at hand has ensured faster-delivery of data. Multi- Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) is one of those technologies that help ISPs achieve this objective. ISPs also play a crucial role in connecting the branches of corporate offices that are spread across countries and continents. It is impossible to lay physical cables for this purpose. VPNs enable private networks to be connected over public networks. With the increasing demand for information, Traffic Engineering plays an important role in managing the network traffic for efficient data transfer.
