We developed synthetic hydrogel materials for soft tissue repair by using poly(HEMA-MMA) copolymers. Non-degradable poly (HEMA-MMA) fillers can retain the breast shape permanently. By controlling the ratio of HEMA and MMA, viscosity and degradability in vivo of the filler can be controlled. To the best of our knowledge, we suggest poly(HEMA-MMA) copolymer filler has stable structures and biocompatibility as large scale semi-permanent injectable filler for soft tissue repair.
