摘要

With the rapid urbanization of the rural areas, a number of streetlights are being installed, but these streetlights are often poorly managed and there is no platform for energy sharing of the surplus energy generated. The paper presents a smart streetlight system which can vend a fraction of its power generated. The revenue collected from the power vending can be used for the maintenance of the system. The streetlight proposed is a smart streetlight which can be controlled by a mobile application through IoT. The users can control numerous streetlights through a mobile application. The revenue collected is also displayed in the application and the access to open the vault of revenue collected can only be given through it.
