In conclusion, the present study confirmed the following: 1. It was found that powder characteristics of granulated sugar different among products. 2. Granulated sugar with large grain size has great flowability. 3. Irregular fine particles were observed in products with a small grain size and low flowability. 4. Flowability and grain size are important indicators of the powder characteristics of granulated sugar. 5. There is a possibility that crystal properties affect powder characteristics. 6. The correlation between these powder characteristics and caking will be researched.
