Yogyakarta has increased the number of vehicles every year. It causes the streets become more crowded especially at the intersection all around the city. The increasing number of vehicles from year to year causes the intersection that generally use the fixed time controller system lose its effectivity in managing traffic. Authors tried to analyze the optimum signal duration at the intersection, especially at Mirota Kampus UGM Intersection. This intersection is a heavy crowded intersection. Using Webster Analysis and Newton's Difference Interpolation we find that normal-wave values is directly proportional to the cycle time. From the analysis, if we reset the direct measurement duration to the analysis results duration, it can decrease the signal duration up to 21.7%. It also can reduce the vehicle delay up to 13.0 % and the cycle time can also be reduced by 14.8 %, which means it can cut the waiting time duration so far. This setting can optimize the efficiency of the signal duration at the intersection.
