We demonstrate the validity of porcine derived dECM bioink as an applicable material for 3D bioprinted tissue by analyzing the dECM of the human and pig pancreas treated with the same decellularization process through proteomic approaches. The ratios of constituents and composition of the proteins that organize the pancreatic tissue were explained in detail and the tissue similarity between the human and the pig was verified. The printed tissue using pdECM bioink will be able to broaden the scope of application of not only disease models related to pancreas such as diabetes but also therapeutic transplantable structures with analysis of secreted proteins that play crucial roles in the biological process. Further studies are required to determine the similarity in mechanical cues related to biophysical properties of bioink for the constructive tissue remodeling.
