Aimed at the difficulty to extract the angular velocity information, which is polluted by the noise of superfluid gyroscope, a useful angular velocity information extraction method based on least mean square (LMS) algorithm was proposed. First, considering the existence of noise, the noise equivalent angular velocity model of gyroscope was established, and the amplitude range of noise equivalent angular velocity was analyzed. Second, a gyroscope noise cancellation system based on LMS adaptive filtering was proposed. Finally, by analyzing the influence of step factor and filter order on the filtering effect, the best parameter was obtained. The simulation results show that the noise can be effectively suppressed, and the useful angular velocity information can be extracted effectively.
