Chaotic Multiplication Encryption Method for Security-Enhanced COOFDM/OQAM Systems

Compared to conventional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), OFDM offset quadrature amplitude modulation OFDM/OQAM has been studied deeply and aroused great concern ultimately in optical communication transmission system, which includes the solid evidence of numerical experimental demonstrations and theoretical discussions. In this paper, we systematically propose a encryption method for enhancement-security in coherent optical OFDM/OQAM (CO-OFDM/OQAM) system, and the scheme applied the chaotic multiplication encryption (CME) which bases on the logistic mapping. According to the result based on a large number of experiment and simulation of data, including the good performance of entropy, bit error rate (BER) and so on, it’s evident that the scheme could promote the security of the CO-OFDM/OQAM system.
