摘要

Abstract: A new technique of the real-time structural health monitoring system with fiber-optic sensors is reported. The fibers are etched equidistantly to fabricate the sensing ranges and are embedded in composite material perpendicularly to build the 2D fiber-optic sensor array. This paper discusses the methods of the etching fiber and the embedding fiber. The output light signals of the fibers that sense the strain distribution of composite material are processed by a computer and shown on the screen. The detecting results are given.!4
