On the basis of study of the phenomena during the pressurizer vapor space small break loss of coolant accident (SBLOCA), the modification of the reactor coolant system model has been made by incoperating the two phase flow model into the original reactor coolant system model. The comparisons of the simulation results by using the original model and the improved model with the records of TMI accident demonstrate that the improvement of the model is successful.
