摘要

There are more than 300 mine monitoring systems installed in China. Owing to lack of compati-bility, standardization for field bus procedure and a proper standard for communication protocol, application and further development of mine monitoring systems have bene seriously restricted. By use of successful application of field bus to surface distributed controlled systems, this paper describes the significance of interlink of field bus level networks and communication protocol. The paper also mentions measures to accomplish field bus and communication protocol in mine monitoring systems by use of CAN (controlled Area Network), introduces and application of CAN to a KJF - 1 minefire monitoring system in China. Principles and measures of field bus and network protocol decided in this paper and the practice in application will doubtless be used as a guide to formulate a standard for mine monitoring field bus and to promote further development of mine monitoring systems in China.
