Test and study on corrdinated mining with combined mining layout in steep inclined thin seam and medium thick seams with close spacing between seams
A top seam mining causing a failure to a next low seam is a great difficult study program of minign in a steep steam group with a close interval. With a dip inclined system combined mining method, this research program has realized to have a coordinated mining with a two seam combined layout under geological conditions of a seam inclination of 65 deg, a sectional vertical height 60 m, two seam parting of 4 to 7 m thick fine sand stone, lime shale stone and joint fine sand stone. The coordinated mining is safe and reliable with obvious economic benefits. A comprehensive study was conducted with mine strata pressure measurements and three dimension finite element calculation and in-lab simulation to understand the mine strata pressure law of the combiend mining and to determine the optimum coordinated parameters. And also with the comprehensive study, it has generated a coordinated distance and a judge equation of the min. spacing between two seams for coordinated mining. This study has basically solve the mining probelm of steep inclined thin and medium thick seams with a short spacing between seams and developed the mining theory on steep inclined seam group with short spacing between seams.
