The climate sensitivity parameter λ is determined for various homogeneous and in-homogeneous perturbations of the radiative budget using three different general circulation models. Perturbations of the solar constant, the concentrations of CO_2 and ozone are considered. As well as the well-known inter-model dependency of λ, a variation for different pertubations is also found. Although some systematic behaviour could be detected, it is too early to draw reliable conclusions on the dependency of λ, on the type of perturbation for predicting an expected climate change.
