摘要

A hydrophilic material composed of silicone rubber as matrix and powdery poly(acrylic acid) as the dispersed phase was prepared by mixing the two phases with high shear. Water adsorption varied linearly with the hydrogel content. Poly(acrylic acid) which specifically exhibits non-Fickian diffusion features, tended to show quasi-Fickian character upon inclusion in the hydrophobic silicone matrix.
