The transformation rules under different cooling rates and the influence of different parameters, including deformation temperature and deformation rate, on the deformation resistance of high strength JB800 bainite steel were investigated on Gleeble-1500 hot simulator. The flow curves of stress vs strain and dynamic CCT diagram of JB800 were obtained. According to the results of thermal simulation test, the mathematic model of the flow stress about JB800 was established, and the material subprogram of Marc also developed by using this model. The rolling process of wide and thin plate of high strength bainite steel was stimulated with Elastic-plastic Finite Element Method. The thermo-mechanical coupled temperature field and stress-strain field during the rolling process were analyzed. The simulation results show that rolling of high strength wide and thin plate can be realized in wide plate production line of Jinan Iron and Steel Group.
