摘要

The paper presents a new method for surface hardening of non-alloy low-carbon steel by electron-beam surfacing of the composite coating with the austenitic nitrogen matrix. The structure of the gradient coating and properties of the fusion zone are optimal from the viewpoint of formation of residual macrostresses and elasto-plastic properties.
