The current research is an in-depth case analysis of a failed e-parliament initiative. The experience of both authors, an expert interview with a senior Cabinet Minister in the current Canadian government, an expert interview with a former Member of Parliament and project documentation provide the data. This information is then reviewed, analyzed and presented to understand why a seemingly well positioned and resourced initiative failed.
