摘要

A control ejection benchmark was designed toprovide the framework for assessing the ability of modernreactor kinetics codes to predict the transient response ofa core partially loaded with MOX fuel. Similarity isobserved in the 2G nodal solutions, however somedifferences are observed in the higher order transportsolutions. Preliminary comparison of PARCS 2G nodaldiffusion and 8G nodal SP3 indicates that the transport and group effect is not significant for this problem. Eventhough the peak power is different by 22%, the powerintegral is only 10% different, well within presumeduncertainty. More participants have performed thebenchmark and results are being collected and analyzed.
