There is a close relation between the rock burst and the character of rock and stress state of the adjacent rock of tunnel and mining field, and the position where the rock burst occurs frequently is often in the stress concentration area. The risk area of rock burst can be forecasted by the result of numerical simulation, and make correct decisions for long time forecast and short predict on rock burst according to the result. The stress state is simulated with FLAC3D in a typical rock burst tunnel in Ping Dingshan Coal Co.Ltd.No.12, and the different dispose projects that are advanced are numerical simulated and compared aim at stress-relief by blasting, then the best project is chosen to practice. The numerical simulation results agree with the practice is testified by fact.
