Monte-Carlo method is regarded as one kind of effective method of engineering structural reliability research since it needn't consider nonlinear of functional function and complicacy of limited state melody surface during the process of its simulation, meanwhile due to bolt supporting roadway is influenced by a lot factors which cause the bolt supporting roadway to become a very complex system. Therefore Monte-Carlo method can be used as a new method for the research of roof stability & reliability of bolt supporting roadway. Monte-Carlo method was based on the research of stability & reliability for roof of bolt supporting roadway, Monte-Carlo and FLAC3D simulation model was also set up in this paper. Theory analysis and computer simulation results of the engineering practice show that the established model is applicable, reliable and highly efficient, this method can be widely spread on spots.
