Using sprays with compound chemical additives which is got by doing lots of orthogonal experiments to do some cold state and hot state experiments. Analyzing and comparing the characteristic parameter distribution of pure sprays and sprays with compound chemical additives. The efficiency of extinguishing kerosene fire and wood fire under different pressure in fire type of A, B system. The results of experiments show that characteristic parameter of sprays with compound chemical additives is better than that of pure sprays. The efficiency of the former to extinguish kerosene pool fire is ideal. Sprays with compound chemical additives could also to extinguish wood fire, only need longer time than to extinguish kerosene fire.
