Based on the analyses of tectonic and thermal evolution of HuaiBei coalfield, Anhui province, the kinetic model of dynamic equilibrium of generation, migration, accumulation and dissipation of gas was used to simulate variation regularity of gas pressures and contents of geologic histories. Geologic effect of the middle and big structure such as fault or fold on gas pressures and contents was discussed utilizing the above numerical simulation results. This research provides a new method for forecasting gas pressure and content of deep coal seam or unknown area of HuaiBei coalfield.
