To meet the needs of diggings outlining for oceanic cobalt crusts and application work, taking the seamount topography and test station data from mineral resource prospecting and developing work of our oceans for data source, we design and develop a suit of windows program system in dynamic calculating for resource quantity and diggings outlining. It improves resource evaluation quality and work efficiency for cobalt crust, and provides decision-making service for crust diggings outlining and application work. We respectively adopt the methods of traditional calculation (such as inverse distance), geostatistics and fractal parameter to calculate resource quantity. It can recuperate the deficiency of single method from different methods contrasting with each others, and make resource computation for cobalt crusts precise and reasonable. By comparing the diggings outlining scheme generated by the conventional division of geological block and topography fractal parameter, the reliability of the resource quantity calculation is improved.
