In the course of the research about the fine reservoir description and residual oil distribution, the reservoir geological modeling is the key technology and reservoir parameter distribution is the key of key. Generally, the sampling of reservoir boundary parameter is taken randomly in geological modeling except of die net thickness. This method distorts practical distribution of reservoir parameter to the great extent and leads to the inconsequence of reservoir boundary parameter. So the calculated oil inplace becomes small in practical. Starting with the method about geological modeling and oil inplace calculation at present, the paper analyses the problem and reason caused by traditional geological modeling. Base on this, the new method about improving this calculating manner is put forward and makes the reservoir parameter sampling more rational at reservoir boundary, the oil inplace and distribution calculated more according to geological disciplinarian. The case study indicates the new method considers the geological factors and the result much more approaches the practical reservoir. This creates the condition for the reservoir geological modeling integrating with the oil in place calculating.
