The sensitivities of monomethylamine nitrate (MMAN) solution were tested in different temperature and concentration, such as the impact sensitivity, the friction sensitivity and the sensitivity to auger. The results show that there exists danger in the preparation process of MMAN when the temperature is higher than 70°C and the concentration is greater than 80%. For this reason the proposals were offered as follows: the MMAN with _<75% concentration is used in the production of water gel explosive, and the methods of decompressed concentration and integrated preparation (one-step method) are used in the production of MMAN and water gel explosive, respectively. The safe technology of the two preparation methods were researched preliminarily.
