Spatial pattern of urban thermal landscape is a comprehensive performance which urban ancillary facilities and urban activities embody in thermal field. Extract Black-body Temperature (TBB) from band6 of Landsat5/TM, which obtained on 23 November, 2008.Thermal landscapes were divided into seven types according to temperature. In the light of principles and methods of landscape ecology, choose fragmentation, diversity, evenness and dominance as evaluation indicators, and analyzed spatial patters of thermal landscapes within the Third Circuit Road of Chengdu City. Its area was about 200km~2.Research results showed that there was obvious difference in spatial patter indicators of thermal landscapes. For example, fragmentation in Jinniu District was the maximum. It was 0.924. That in Chenghua District was the minimum. It was 0.559. And spatial patter indicators of thermal landscapes were closely related to distribution characteristics of thermal landscape types. These research results have important significance for analyzing and studying the overall pattern of cities, environmental protection and urban plan.
