摘要

In this paper, a plasticity-based constitutive model was adopted and calibrated for high-strengthconcrete. The model is based on the Extended Leon Model (ELM) developed by Etse and Willam (1994)and is implemented for high strength concrete. The model was calibrated using biaxial test data for highstrength concrete conducted at Memorial University and triaxial test results conducted at University ofAlberta. The model was coded as a user defined subroutine into the commercially available softwareABAQUS. The results were then compared to the experimental data. Results of the verification indicatedthat the finite element model, generally speaking, is able to capture the stress-strain behaviour for thebiaxial and triaxial test specimens under different stress ratios and confining pressures.
