摘要

The advanced buckling analysis method in IACS Common Structure Rules for Double Hull Oil Tankers introduces the ultimate strength concept and non-linear buckling theory into the practice of ship structure rules and technical standards. This will effectively promote the development of modern ship structural design techniques. Now, the most practical method of advanced buckling analysis in FEM is using PULS software developed by DNV. CCS and CSSRC developed the “Ship panel buckling analysis system” based on CAE platform-PATRAN. This system can access the existing FE model database, and run “input” work automatically to replace a lot of manual works. The system also pack up the PULS DLL file to make it good practical for the buckling analysis of large number of stiffened/unstiffened panels .The system has been applied in the strength analysis of tens of large ships. This paper describes the development, key technique of “Ship panel buckling analysis system”, and the application in the buckling analysis of VLCC as well.
