摘要

The objective of the SuSy (Surfacing System for Ship Recovery) project was to develop a stability/rescue system for the use on merchant ships in emergency situations. The system should be used for different application scenarios, as there are: 1. as a preventive rescue system installed on ships, 2. equipment for coast guard and rescue squads to quickly stabilize capsized ships, 3. equipment for salvage teams to lift sunken ships, as well as many other applications in this field. To prove the SuSy concept, specific water tests were defined. A test platform was constructed to mount and demonstrate the SuSy system. Real-time experiments have been conducted in order to establish and validate the operational parameters of the "SuSy" concept under real-time conditions.
