摘要

A new structural demand model based on 3P-lognormaldistribution was proposed for analytical seismic fragility analysis.The model’s performance was verified based on a large amountof analytical EDP data obtained from the nonlinear dynamicanalysis of a simplified steel frame model. From the distributionfitting, the proposed 3P-lognormal model showed a better fittingeffect and thus, proved to be a more appropriate assumption inseismic fragility analysis. The relationships between the threeparameters of the proposed model and IM could be estimated togenerate smooth fragility curves efficiently. Specifically, themean and standard deviation of the EDP could be estimatedthrough linear regression at an arbitrary IM, and the skewness ofthe EDP could be estimated as a fixed value.
