Logistics activities are a cooperative process of multi-part, and each part must consume some energy. Energy has become a major and limiting factor during the development of the logistics industry. However, there has been few studies related to the energy consumption of the regional logistics system in China so far, which has seriously hampered the implementation of energy saving and emission reduction in the logistics industry. After the actual survey and absorption of existing achievements, evaluation index system of energy consumption of regional logistics system was constructed, and the evaluation model was established with the basic principles of the information entropy theory. The result of the case shows that the level of energy consumption of the regional logistics system can be determined accurately and effectively by this evaluation method.
