To investigate the effects of different adhesive agents and surface treatments on the shear bonding strength of ceramic brackets to Light-cured composite resin Specimens. 60 resin specimens were divided randomly into three groups. Each group of 20 resin samples: The Jing-jin enamel adhesive (Group A), 3M ESPE adhesive (Group B), Bisco ortho-one orthodontic direct bonding system (Group C). Each group of 20 resin samples were divided randomly into two groups:10 samples with 9.6% hydrofluoric combined and other 10 samples with 9.6% hydrofluoric combined with silane. The shear bonding strength was measured and bond failure sites were classified according to Adhesive Remnant Index system, and recording the repair adhesive face rupture. The higher values were obtained with Bisco ortho-one orthodontic direct bonding system and 3M ESPE adhesive than Jing-jin enamel adhesive which can provide adequate shear bonding strength. But the Jing-jin enamel adhesive with 9.6% hydrofluoric cannot provide adequate shear bonding strength. After the adhesive agents are removed, the restoration burst rate of samples with 9.6% hydrofluoric combined with silane is higher than 9.6% hydrofluoric. The restoration burst rate of samples with 9.6% hydrofluoric combined with silane is higher. The Jing-jin enamel adhesive with 9.6% hydrofluoric cannot provide adequate shear bonding strength.
