It has certain difficulty on teaching of Data Strurure in vocational colleges whose practical skills are considered as their main teaching goal. Based on analyzing current teaching pattern, idea of curriculum reform, such as reducing the explanation of the theoretical and abstract knowledge, is proposed.By studying the practical needs of the major frontline software developers, proposes to expand the teaching contents of data structures, introduce strong third-party data structures like Appache Commons-Collections, to push forward strengthen the teaching of realistic application. Taking Java Data Structure for example, this paper explores a reform solution to improve and enhance its efficiency and quality of teaching.
