摘要

SCM (Single-Chip Microcomputer) is an important area of computer technology.It is widely used in everywhere in our daily life.Almost every electronic or mechanical product has embedded SCM.SCM Technology is a very important undergraduate core course in Electronic Information Engineering major and ess.ntial knowledge that undergraduate students need to grasp.Due to fact that SCM theory is not intuitive and hard to understand, based on many-year experience in teaching SMC technology courses, the author points out the important practice of using Simulation Software Proteus in improving the teaching quality in the aspects of stimulating students' creative thinking, increasing their hands-on experience, and strengthening their problem solving skills.The author also points out that simulation should never be a substitution of lab work, rather a complement.In SMC course teaching, it is always beneficial to combine the use of Proteus and labwork.Through these practices the author received very good results in terms of SCM course teaching as well as students skill set development.
