摘要

Performance management in public hospitals is of great strategic significance to enhance the efficiency of China's medical service system and promote the reform of public hospitals. On the basis of summarizing the development of stakeholder theory, this paper makes a definition for the stakeholders of public hospitals, and carries out an analysis on the problems arising from the performance management of public hospitals based on the stakeholder-oriented theoretical framework. After that, this paper attempts to explore the strategies to improve performance management of public hospitals from the following aspects, namely governmentoriented, employee-oriented and market-oriented.
