The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established the PM_(2.5) Chemical Speciation Network (CSN) in 2000 to supplement its PM_(2.5) Federal Reference Method (FRM) monitoring program established in 1998. EPA recently completed a review of the CSN with the goal of reducing base costs and providing a percentage of funds to upgrade the network (Landis, 2014a and 2014b). This assessment builds upon an alternate study conducted by DRI that performed a large-scale overview of CSN sample and blank data contained in EPA's Air Quality System (AQS) annual summary files for the period 2010 through 2013 (Tropp, 2015). The current assessment looks at data derived from AQS retrievals obtained for six collocated CSN sites in 2013. The six collocated sites are: 1. California Avenue (Bakersfield), CA 2. Rubidoux (Riverside), CA 3. Roxbury (Boston), MA 4. New Brunswick, NJ 5. G.T. Craig (Cleveland), OH 6. Deer Park (Houston), TX.
