The results indicate exposure to particles in the investigated part of the nanosize range (14.1 nm - 101.8 nm) from both nanotechnology-based and regular products. Therefore, the use of nanotechnology-based as well as regular cosmetic powders would result in relatively similar inhalation exposures to nanoparticles in the range between 14.1 and 101.8 nm. Exposure to nanomaterials within nanoparticle agglomerates of larger sizes, nanoparticles attached to larger particles, and nanostructured particles will be investigated next.
