摘要

Intracranial aneurysms are pathological dilatations of a cerebral artery that may suffer rupture and lead to subarachnoid hemorrhage. Such a condition presents high morbidity and mortality rates for the patients concerned.In the following, we propose a comprehensive model for performing CFD computations of blood flow in vessels equipped with flow diverters. This is, to our knowledge, the first proposed model of this kind employing a structured/regular grid formulation, while previous work done by [1] has used a commercial implementation (Fluent 6.0) of such a method in a Finite Element framework.
